Low-pressure kitchen faucet is need for Phigerat non-pressurized open vent boiler tank

This article briefly introduces the meaning of water pressure, to compare the working principles of a normal faucet and a low-pressure faucet. 
Better understanding the non-pressurized system will help you make better choices on the under sink water system.
For the boiling water system, we usually say it non-pressure under sink water system. During our marketing service work, the most frequent reminder we share our customers is that: Phigreat’s boiling water system is the style of a non-pressure water system. The pressure vent is not on the boiler itself, but it is the outlet of the tap. So our boiler needs to be equipped with a special low-pressure water tap.

There were some customers did not get clearly the working principle of the whole system, they connect their normal kitchen faucet to the Phigreat’s water boilers. Which caused some damage and leakage of the water boilers. 
Thus, there is a demand for our this article to give a detailed introduction on low-pressure tap and non-pressurized water heaters, we also call it water boilers.
Topic: Pressure of the Boiler
Firstly, we need to clarify “the pressure” refers to hereby?
This pressure does not refer to the water pressure from the house valve but refers to the pressure for the storage tank of the water boiler.
Two sources for the pressure of the hot water tank come from, one is the water pressure iteself, the other is the steam pressure during the water heating.
(1)、The water pressure from the water storage tank. 
According to the pressure formula, F = PS = ρghS (ρ is the density of water, g is a constant 9.8N/kg counted as 10N/kg, h is the depth of the water, S is the bottom area of the water tank)
We can calculate the bottom pressure of the water tank of the 2.4L our water boiler as (height=20cm, diameter=12cm):
F=PS=ρghS=1.0×10³×10×0.2×3.14×(12/2/100) 2≈20N=2kgs
(2)、The water pressure of the municipal water supply.
Without calculating complexly for gravity-fed in a gravity-fed system, we can test it easily, we can connect a water pressure reading meter at the water supply end, we will be able to know the value of the water pressure, the normal water pressure is generally between 40 and 60PSI, most of the family will adjust at 50PSI, it is about 3.5kgs.
When water boiler is connected to a normal faucet supplies normal hot and cold water, then the water tank needs to be withstand by 2kgs + 3.5kgs = 5.5kgs of pressure without heating process, which is about 80PSI of pressure. So a normal cold water tank has 5.5kgs pressure during working.
When we calculate the pressure of steam, To image water is heated into 98 degrees, you will check out  that there is a great risk of broken the water tank if there is no vent on the boiler.

The fifference between normal faucet and Non-pressurised water tap works
When a traditional kitchen faucet  does not work, its spout in a completely closed position and without any overflow.
If you connect an ordinary faucet to a water boiler without a vent, the domestic water will go through a hose into the tank, then flows out from a hot water pipe.It means we are heating a sealed tank full of water, the water boiler bears not only the water pressure but also the steam pressure when water boiling, water trapped in the tank, simply due to the thermal expansion of the liquid, it will make the pipe or boiler break. It is easy to understand that the boiler is bearing very high pressure. We can call such systems as high-pressure water systems, there are some items like Quooker products in the market.

During our market developing, we  find that the tank without pressure inside are also welcome by people. 
The working diagram of a low-pressure water system or  a non-pressure system is shown as left-side.
In appearance, the boiling water tap of the low-pressure system seems not different from a normal kitchen faucet. However, the design of the water flow is completely different! 
There are 3 water way hoses for a boiling water tap with the low-pressure system.
It has two hoses connected to the water boiler, one is for supplying filtered water to the faucet, the other is from the faucet into the water boiler, and the third one is for the boiling water outlet. 
Inside the boiling water faucet, the spout of the boiling water is always kept open, when we turn on the handle of boiling water, the municipal water flows into the cartridge of the faucet, and then the cold water from the faucet cartridge will flow into the water boiler at a lower pressure from the faucet, so the boiling water which has equal quantity as the cold water will be squeezed out from the hot water tank. The outlet of the boiling water faucet works as an open vent, and the faucet will bear the municipal water instead of the water boiler. The water boiler only needs to carry the pressure of 2kgs of water in the tank.
